The Council organises seminars to
enable French and British experts in a particular field
to share experiences. Recent topics have included Religion
and the State and Policies for the Ageing
Society.
Participation is almost always by invitation only and
numbers are limited. Seminars are generally followed
up by a report chronicling the discussion and conclusions
reached by participants.
 We
also commission special reports on topics of current
concern; the latest in this series is Cross
Channel Currents; 100 years of Entente Cordiale
Editors: Douglas Johnson, Richard Mayne and Robert
Tombs.
